Gasconade Hills Resort Trip Protection Policy
Effective Date: April 1, 2026
This Trip Protection Policy explains the optional Trip Protection add-on offered by Gasconade Hills Resort ("Provider"). Trip Protection is an internal program and is not insurance. It provides a future resort credit under the terms outlined below.
1. What Is Trip Protection?
Trip Protection is an optional add-on available for overnight accommodations, campsites, and float rental services booked directly with Gasconade Hills Resort. Trip Protection does not transfer risk to any third party and does not provide cash refunds.
2. Cost and Reservation Amount
Trip Protection is billed at 10% of the Reservation Amount and is non-refundable.
Reservation Amount means the total of lodging, campsite, or float rental charges at the time of booking, excluding Trip Protection fees, taxes, and ancillary add-ons unless otherwise stated.
3. Eligibility and Purchase Timing
Trip Protection applies only to reservations booked directly with the Provider and is valid only for the individual(s) named on the reservation.
- Must be added at the time of booking or within 48 hours of booking
• Must be purchased no later than 15 days prior to check-in
• Applies to purchases made on or after the effective date, regardless of arrival date
4. Exclusions
Trip Protection does not apply to:
- Third-party bookings
• Group contracts
• Special event reservations
• Non-refundable promotional rates (unless stated otherwise in writing)
5. Cancellations
Reservations with Trip Protection may be cancelled for any reason.
Important: Reservation changes or modifications after booking are treated as cancellations for Trip Protection purposes.

• Failure to cancel in time will void Trip Protection benefits

6. Credits Issued
- 100% resort credit issued for qualifying cancellations
• Issued to the original reservation holder’s guest account
• Valid for 18 months from date issued
• Non-transferable
• Not redeemable for cash
• Valid only for future direct bookings with the Provider
7. Weather and Emergencies
Routine weather conditions (including rain or forecasted storms) do not alter Trip Protection benefits.
In the event of a government-declared emergency or mandatory evacuation affecting the Resort, the Provider may issue credits outside this Policy at its sole discretion.
8. Abuse and Fraud
The Provider reserves the right to deny Trip Protection benefits in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, or misrepresentation.
9. Limitation of Liability and Governing Law
The Provider’s total liability under this Policy shall not exceed the Reservation Amount.
This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, with exclusive venue in Clay County, Missouri.

Trip Protection is an optional add-on offered by Gasconade Hills Resort. For an additional 10% of your reservation total, you may cancel your reservation for any reason and receive a non-refundable resort credit, provided you cancel at least 24 hours before check-in.
Credits are issued to the original reservation holder, are non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and are valid for 18 months from the date issued.
Trip Protection is not insurance and applies only to reservations booked directly with the resort.
